Privacy & Data Shield

Protocol Version: 2026.1.0 • Effective January 2026

Introduction: The Zero-Knowledge Mandate

At HumanProof (by Human-Integrity), we believe that the only way to truly protect data is to never possess it. Our Privacy Policy is built upon the Zero-Knowledge Principle. This means our infrastructure is architected in a way that makes it technically impossible for us to access, view, or leak your intellectual property.

1. Data Minimization & Local Hashing

Unlike traditional cloud-based content protection services, HumanProof does not require the "upload" of your work. Our console utilizes Client-Side Execution:

  • No Raw Content Ingestion: Your manuscripts, research papers, or code never leave your local device. The "hashing" process happens entirely within your web browser.
  • Cryptographic Fingerprinting: We only receive the SHA-256 hash—a 64-character alphanumeric string. This string is a one-way mathematical signature. It cannot be reversed to reveal your original text.

2. Information We Store

To maintain a globally verifiable registry of human origin, we store only the minimum metadata required for certification:

  • The Hash Record: The SHA-256 fingerprint used to identify the document.
  • Synchronized Timestamp: The exact date and time (atomic clock sync) the hash was anchored to our infrastructure.
  • Certificate Status: Whether a Professional Integrity Seal has been issued for the record.

3. Third-Party Data & Transactions

We leverage industry-leading partners to ensure the security of your transactions and infrastructure:

  • Lemon Squeezy (Merchant of Record): All financial transactions are handled by Lemon Squeezy. They process your payment information according to their own high security standards. Human-Integrity does not store your credit card or billing details.
  • Infrastructure: Our cryptographic registry is hosted on secure, enterprise-grade cloud layers with restricted access.

4. Intellectual Property Sovereignity

You remain the sole custodian of your work. Because HumanProof does not hold copies of your certified files, it is your responsibility to keep the original digital file safe. Our service only provides the mathematical proof that the file existed in its current form at the recorded time.

5. Your Rights & Control

You have the right to request information about the metadata hashes linked to your account. However, since the hashes are non-reversible and anonymized identifiers of content, we cannot "delete" a timestamp from the immutable registry once it has been anchored, as this would compromise the integrity of the entire verification system.
