Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing the HumanProof console and utilizing the Human-Integrity cryptographic infrastructure, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you must refrain from using our certification services.

2. Description of Service

HumanProof provides a Proof of Existence service. Our infrastructure allows users to generate an immutable cryptographic timestamp (SHA-256 hash) for digital content. This service does not verify the quality, accuracy, or legal ownership of the content, but provides a technical anchor proving that a specific digital file existed in a specific state at a specific time.

3. User Responsibilities & Data Conservation

Due to our Zero-Knowledge architecture, Human-Integrity does not store your original files. You understand and agree that:

• Original File Retention: You are solely responsible for keeping the original digital file that corresponds exactly to the certified hash.
• Effect of Modification: Any modification to the original file (even a single space or character) will result in a different hash, rendering the existing certificate unable to verify the modified file.
• Irreversibility: If you lose the original file, Human-Integrity cannot recover it, and the cryptographic proof becomes impossible to verify against the original content.

4. Intellectual Property & Sovereignty

Human-Integrity claims no ownership or rights over the content you certify. By using the service, you represent that you have the legal right to the content being hashed. Our role is strictly limited to that of a digital notary, recording a mathematical fingerprint of your intellectual property without ever accessing the content itself.

5. Fees and Payments

Access to the basic hashing console may be free, but the issuance of an Official PDF Certificate and a Professional Integrity Seal is subject to the fees listed in our pricing section. Payments are processed via Lemon Squeezy, our Merchant of Record. All sales for individual digital seals are final once the certificate has been generated and indexed in our registry.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. While we utilize enterprise-grade SHA-256 standards and atomic clock synchronization, Human-Integrity does not guarantee that the service will meet every specific legal requirement in every global jurisdiction for copyright litigation. Users should consult with legal counsel for specific intellectual property strategies.

7. Governing Law

These terms and your use of the HumanProof infrastructure are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Morocco. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Tétouan, Morocco.
